welcome

Central Presbyterian Church serves the downtown Huntsville area as well as greater Madison County.  Our mission is to:

Proclaim the Gospel of Christ,

Reach the lost with the message of salvation,

Lead believers into a deeper relationship with Christ,

Equip lay people to do the ministry of the Church, and to

Interact with our local community and the world for the cause of Christ.

Central Presbyterian Church has a long history of service to our Lord as well as to our community.  We take great joy in knowing our members come from all walks of life and therefore are able to have an influence for Christ in all levels of our society.

At Central Presbyterian Church we encourage every member to live out his or her faith in the workplace, at home, at the gym, or wherever they may be.  God’s Word tells us to, “always be ready to give a reason for the hope that lies within…with gentleness and respect” (1 Peter 3:15), so it is our job to prepare everyone to be able to say what they believe and to share with others how they may find the love of God in Christ Jesus.

We encourage you to visit the other pages of our Web Site and discover more about who we are, how you can come to know Jesus Christ as your Lord and find a church home here at Central Presbyterian Church.
